What are the opening dates of the site?

How can we book a place?

Depending on your needs, different offers are available.

You can either buy a round trip ticket Tramway du Mont-Blanc or a MONT-BLANC Multipass (unlimited access to Mont-Blanc natural resort excursion sites and ski areas).

The booking is compulsory, you need to choose a date and departure time.

If you already have a valid ticket (season, annual or long stay pass), you can book by clicking here.

Are there any restrictions?

The visit is forbidden for children under 6 months up to « Col de Voza » or « Col de Bellevue » stops (forbidden under 1-year-old for the « Nid d'Aigle » stop open only in summer).

There is no counter-indication for pregnant women, however if you have a doubt contact your doctor or obstetrician.

Animals are allowed kept on a leash.

People with reduced mobility : wheelchair access is possible with an accompanying person and depending on the weather only up to « col de Voza » (special rates, contact us for information).

How long does the visit last, and what practical information is there?

Average visit duration is 3 to 4 hours (including the trip). Be aware during peak periods, the visit duration can be doubled.

There are 130 seats in the trains. The booking is for place in the train, but not necessarily a seat. Depending on the day, the affluence, the section and the schedule, seated places can’t be guaranteed on the round trip.

When you buy a ticket, only the departure time is known.
You reserve your return train at the arrival station.

Luggage is limited to 1 hiking backpack per person, plus ski equipment. If you have more luggage, please ask at the ticket office. Transporting a stroller is free of charge.

Tickets for children under 5 are free of charge, upon presentation of proof of age, and are only available at ticket offices.

Are the booking dates exchangeable?

Tickets purchased online cannot be changed or refunded (except where we are closed due to technical or weather constraints).

How can I get to the Tramway du Mont-Blanc?

Different departures are possible : from Saint-Gervais station.

The parking lots are limited arround Saint-Gervais station and le Fayet station.

Free car parks without time limits are available in Bettex gondola (at 1km of the stations -25 minutes walk/bus shuttles available).

I ordered online: what can I do if I haven't received my tickets by email?

If you haven't received your tickets by email, you can also find them in the 'My Account' section, 'My Orders' by logging directly onto the website. You will see your order under the 'Confirmed Orders' tab, which means the order was successful; click on 'QR CODE'. If you encounter any difficulties, please contact our customer service at 04 50 53 22 75 (8:15 AM to 5:00 PM).
